Kristin DiGiacomo is a member of the West View VFW Auxiliary to Post 2754, in West View, PA. She joined the Auxiliary in 2002, under the eligibility of her grandfather, Cpl James Banze, who served in the US Army during the Korean War. She previously served as the Department Chairman for the Auxiliary Community Outreach Program 2020-2021 and has been the Historian and Media Relations Chairman since 2022. She enjoys fishing, traveling, spending time with her family and friends and keeping busy! Kristin wants everyone to remember that photography opens pathways into the future while also allowing us a glimpse into the past! A camera is a SAVE button, so let’s SAVE our history. She realizes that many of our "seasoned members" are sometimes unsure about how to use social media, but stresses that this is a great way to get involved with the youth in your families, communities and Auxiliaries! Generational gaps will never go away, but she hopes that the gaps can be bridged a bit more with this program!
