Volunteering is an important aspect of the communities that we live in. It helps create a better place for our Veterans and their families by building self‐confidence, meeting new people and improving social skills. Auxiliary Outreach provides our members with a sense of belonging in our communities and promotes a healthy environment that we live in.
The Auxiliary Outreach Program is about volunteering with other organizations for the benefit of the community. It is a donation of our time, and not a donation of money. One member, a group of members, or an entire Auxiliary can perform volunteer work to improve and show appreciation for the community in which we live and our pride as members of the Auxiliary.
Auxiliary members who volunteer show that "Every Day is Veterans Day” while reaching "From Sea to Shining Sea Honoring Veterans” will be successful with this program.
