Terri Palchanis is President of District 11, Luzerne County. She is a member of Shawnee Plymouth VFW Auxiliary, Post 1425, in Plymouth, PA. She joined the Auxiliary under the eligibility of her husband, Robert R. Plachanis, Jr., as US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Her family includes her husband, 8 children, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Her hobbies include her family, the VFW, the VFW Auxiliary, golf, canning and dancing. She loves the United States of America, Veterans and her community. Her favorite Auxiliary Program is Community Outreach, as she loves working with so many organizations and letting them know about the VFW Auxiliary. She also loves getting involved with activities in the VA Hospitals and helping with Buddy Poppy distribution.
