Kristine Horten is President of District 17, Snyder/Union/Perry/Juniata Counties. She is a member of Selinsgrove VFW Auxiliary, Post 6631, in Selinsgrove, PA. She joined the Auxiliary in 2014, under the eligibility of her grandfather, Peter Dolgas, who served in WWII. She lives with her husband, Aaron, and two sons, Carter and Porter. She loves traveling and spending time with her family. She joined the Auxiliary to be able to help Veterans and to pass this value to her children. "I believe it is important to teach them (children) to give back to the community and our Veterans.” Her favorite Auxiliary activity is the monthly bacon-cheeseburger night to raise money for Veterans and the community.
