Joey Diehl is the President of District 18, Cumberland, Dauphin, and Lebanon Counties. She is a life member of Durff-Kuhn VFW Auxiliary, Post 6168, Shippensburg, PA. She joined our organization in May 1972 under the eligibility of her brother, James M. Hocker, who served three tours in Vietnam. She and her husband, Gary, have two sons and 8 grandchildren. Joey joined the Auxiliary to honor and support our Veterans and to make sure our Vietnam veterans and those who did not come back are never forgotten. Her favorite Auxiliary Programs are Mentoring for Leadership and Veterans & Family Support. Through this program, Joey believes we have the opportunity to teach our youth patriotism, as they are our future.
