Carolyn is a member of Elk Mountain VFW Auxiliary Post 8488 located in Lenox, PA. She is currently serving there as Patriotic Instructor, as well as Americanism and Buddy Poppy/National Home Chairman.  She is a Past District 14 President and currently serves as District Secretary and Senior Vice President. She served as Dept. of PA Chief of Staff 2020-21, Legislative Chairman 2021-22, and "Buddy” Poppy /National Home Chairman 2022-23.  For the 2023-2024 year, she served as Dept. Americanism Chairman which is her favorite Program. 

Carolyn joined the Auxiliary 14 years ago under her husband at the time, Retired SSGT Richard M. Paccio- US Air Force. She proudly honors her father as well, Donald S. Davies Captain Army 125th Cavalry Reconnaissance Unit in WWII.  She has one son who serves as a County Corrections Officer.  In addition to being very Patriotic, her passions also include her pets, gardening, and volunteering within the community.
